Anchor text questions
Where do I find my backlink anchors?
Any backlink tool lists them. In Ahrefs, Semrush or Moz, open your domain’s anchors report and export it, then paste the anchor column here, one per line. If the export has a count per anchor, repeat the anchor or paste the rows as they are.
What is a natural anchor text mix?
There is no official ratio. A safe starting point is about half branded and URL anchors, about a third partial-match and descriptive anchors, and only a small share of exact-match keywords. Compare with the competitors that rank for your keywords and stay within their range.
How does the checker classify anchors?
Web addresses count as URL anchors and anything with your brand name as branded. An anchor that is exactly one of your keywords is exact match; one that contains a keyword, or all its main words, is partial match. Phrases like “click here” are generic, and everything else is descriptive.
Is my data stored?
No. The checker runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you paste is sent to Autolinks or anyone else.
